Museums API
Use this API to add searchable museum directory data to travel, culture, education, arts, and local discovery products. It returns normalized JSON records with country and location filters, museum-type filtering, source-page attribution, count-bearing reference endpoints, and dataset summary totals so developers can build discovery and enrichment workflows without maintaining their own Wikipedia list parser.
Use Cases
- build museum finders and cultural attraction discovery tools
- enrich destination pages, maps, and education products with source-attributed museum records
- inspect museum coverage by country, location, type, and source before importing data
Access
These endpoints are served through RapidAPI. The examples below are documentation examples, not direct browser links, because requests require RapidAPI authentication headers.
